Terms of Use

These terms apply between you and Brandriver GmbH for the use of Goals. If you got Goals from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies as well.

Your account

You need an account with a real email address. Keep your password to yourself. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Free days and subscription

• The first 100 accounts use Goals free for good. Every account after that gets 30 days free. Used feedback adds 7 days, an approved post about Goals or a friend who joins adds a month.
• After that Goals costs $1.99 a month, $11.99 a year, or $29.99 once for Lifetime (or the local App Store price). Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Lifetime does not renew and stays yours as long as Goals exists.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the period in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Stakes, Rings and bets

Rings are points inside the app. They have no money value, can't be bought or paid out and are only used for rewards and friendly bets. Stakes are a promise you make to yourself: Goals shows an amount and a link, you decide whether and where to give it. Goals never takes, holds or moves money for stakes.

Connections

When you connect a tool, you confirm you may use its API key. Goals only reads numbers from it. You can disconnect at any time.

Fair use

Don't misuse Goals: no attacks, no automated sign-ups, no harassment of friends through nudges or bets. We may close accounts that do.

No advice

Goals helps you keep habits and track goals. It gives no medical, financial or legal advice. Forecasts and plans are estimates.

Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential obligations and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. We do our best to keep your data safe and the app running, but can't promise it is always available.

Changes

We may update these terms. Important changes are announced in the app in advance.
